ARTISAN | MODERN | AUTHENTIC HATIAN

Coffee that creates jobs and brings joy to the people of Haiti.

Joyhouse Coffee has a mission to support missionaries and to create jobs in Haiti through the profits of their business. Easily becoming one of our favorite passion projects, we got the opportunity to build Joyhouse from the ground up. Our goal was to recreate authentic Haitian culture in a modern aesthetic.

For the brand identity, we crafted a strong mark paired with hand drawn illustrations, patterns, and bold colors to create the perfect balance of craftsmanship. The mark itself reflects the heart of the brand. The arrow pointing up represents rise up, and the line below resembles choosing joy in Jesus as one's foundation. Together the mark resembles a house, which embodies the value of family and warmth of the atmosphere of Joyhouse.

BEHIND THE BRAND

Rise Up

The arrow represents how each of us can rise up and make a difference in our community and world. At JoyHouse, it starts with a cup of coffee.

Choose Joy

The line represents our foundation of joy in Christ. Joy transcends circumstances. It’s bigger than happiness. From providing jobs, to caring for orphans, to educating children, and spreading the gospel of Christ, JoyHouse Coffee helps the people of Haiti choose joy.

PATTERN + ILLUSTRATION
